Colorado Wildflowers on Byers Peak
From the summit of Byers Peak at just under 13,000 feet, several groups of golden wildflowers added color to the windswept rocks of this Fraser, Colorado, icon. The hike up is 3,000+ vertical feet and a good grunt the last 1,000 feet. Once on top, the views of the surrounding Rocky Mountain landscape are incredible.
