Between Van Horn and Valentine, Texas, a long US Highway 90 in the Chihuahuan desert, sits a permanent display of adobe brick, plaster, paint, glass, and several prada shoes and bags provided by the one and only Miuccia Prada. <br />

This West Texas landmark, often called Prada Marfa or Marfa Prada, was inaugurated on October 1, 2005, and cost ~ $80,000 to build. The building and concept is the plan of  Elmgreen and Dragset and was assisted by American architects Ronald Rael and Virginia San Fratello.
