At about 12,000 feet in elevation on the Byers Peak Trail, lots of gold was spread along the trail. Here, a group of "Old Man of the Mountain" sunflowers was nestled in among other yellow and purple Colorado wildflowers, making the grunt up this peak a bit more enjoyable.
